Last week was Mizue's 21st birthday party - again a cooking party, and this time, there were loads more people and loads more food! We even had some leftovers! (which we took home and ate XD) It was soooo nice! I really enjoyed it :D though it was kind of not as "warm" as the previous party, because we couldn't all sit around the table, but walked around instead. It was OK though, I met new people, and felt like an ethnic minority among all the Asians XD The food was great! A girl called Junko made 3 kinds of mochi dishes... *drools* then Alice and Nat made Shepherd's pie, Mizue made a malay dish, Mee Jeong made kimchi, Michael some Chinese chicken thingy, Mami, Shoko and Wakana made noodles, Alex made lentil salad, Yuwa a nepali dish or something... someone brought cakes, Eveline made chocolate mousse... ooooh it was sooo nice :D oh btw I made pancakes stuffed with minced pork~
Yes, I know I write in perhaps too great detail about food, but it makes me happy, all right? XD On the right here is Mami, making an interesting face, by the way, isn't is so funny? :D

Apart from that, I went to the National Portrait Gallery with my flatmate Jiewei on Saturday, we even took part in a 45-minute guided tour of some paintings, that was interesting! The woman talked about the historical background behind the Victorian pictures, but in a gripping way, so I was happy! And then we laughed so much with Jiewei about how ugly the men in old times were, and why could nobody paint a good-looking guy... XDDDD

And on Sunday, Eveline, CV and her boyfriend invited me to eat chocolate mousse (though I really had to study XD)... ummmmmm they kinda made it too SALTY.... anyone ever had SALTY chocolate mousse? Well, it wasn't technically BAD, but kind of... interesting? XD And there was lots of other food too, so I felt kinda bad but they managed to make me eat some -_-;

On Wednesday, we planned our trip with Eveline to York! ^o^ I can't wait!!! It would be nice if more people came too (Yifu said she might be able to), but even if just the 2 of us, waiwai! York is so beautiful, and anyhoo, reading week is only 2 weeks away... @__@ I have to study for the placement tests next week, faitoooo~~~><;
