Gazette concert!

I'm so happy! I randomly found out that one of my favourite bands, the GazettE, is playing in London, at Carling Academy Islington, about 15 minutes from my dorm room, in October!!! I had to buy a ticket! :)
So I'm going on October 27th... it's a Saturday, so I don't even have to skip classes the next day for sleeping :D

<-- the GazettE

Ami and Viki both want to come visit me before Christmas... it would be so awesome *_* prease to come visit Barbi... *clingu* <3

And I'm starting Ms Thompson's commission on Monday! I did some brainstorming today, I hope she'll like what I come up with... like, something really random, even though I tried to relate it to the "international" theme, if not school itself... I just hope she'll like it for the style and don't mind what it is :D For that money, I feel the pressure of having to draw something really good @_@

ホームステー

After Sziget and some cleaning, Ayumi came to my house - we had fun watching Goong, talking, and I'm happy she liked her birthday present! ^__^ (I customised a pair of trainers for her)
Then on Sunday morning, four of us - Ami, Erisz, Orsi and me - went to meet the Japanese girls who were supposed to stay at each of our houses for 2 nights. Viki came as well, I was happy ^o^
It was funny because we didn't know their names in advance, or anything, and Orsi and Viki doesn't speak Japanese at all, so after Yukiko, Yumi, Yasuko and Izumi told us their names, it was a little awkward, but the atmosphere got a lot friendlier very soon :D Everyone was hungry, so we took them to a pancake place near Király utca, and there, since we had to split up to 3 tables, we could talk with whoever we got to sit with :D The funny thing was this: Ami and Erisz, who study Japanese at uni and therefore are probably the best, sat with Yukiko, who was the best at Hungarian anyway... Viki and me sat with Yumi, who wasn't bad at Hungarian, but we had to speak mostly in Japanese... again interesting, since Viki speaks no Japanese XD Lastly... Orsi (no Japanese knowledge) sat with TWO of the girls - the 2 who understood the least Hungarian I think :DDD BUT, still, everyone communicated well in whatever language we could... we talked about lots of random things :) Food is a good icebreaker ;)

Then, we visited Heroes Square, walked around the Bazilika and went in - the girls loved it! I mostly talked to Yumi, who seemed friendliest and most talkative :) Yukiko seemed sort of serious and wary of us, while Izumi and Yasuko were just shy I think XD After a walk in Váci utca, the girls went off shopping on their own, Viki left to go to the cinema with Patyi, and the 4 of us went to McDonalds and chatted about random stuff like always :) I was happy that I could talk to Erisz a bit more, because before, I thought she was too shy or something, at parties where we met... now, she was really nice :)

At the end of the day, it was decided that the one coming to my house will be Yasuko. I was a bit scared about how we would talk (she was rather quiet the whole time) however, when we were alone, she talked a lot more! She's actually super cute and adorable :D She loved the csirkepörkölt and cucumber salad we had for dinner, and when the 2 of us walked around Szentendre at night, we could talk about things that were beyond usual formalities and such ^^ I know that Japanese people are always nice and polite to everyone, especially their hosts, but I think (I hope, anyhow) Yasuko's kindness was genuine after a while ^__^ She made friends with Bobó as well :D

On Monday, everyone met up in front of the Vásárcsarnok (my old workplace, ugh), and we left the Japanese girls to do sightseeing on their own for most of the day. They went to see the Castle and the Parliament and stuff, while Orsi, Ami, Erisz and me "visited" my old boss... she's still a pain in the arse :D
I talked to the girl in the back shop, she's still there, she's truly admirable :)
Then we went to Orsi's house with Viki... where I slept for 2 hours on the bed, I was so tired :D And we looked at old drawings which was fun, and old photos of Ami and Orsi :))) SO CUTE!

After collecting all the girls again, everyone went to Burger King for an ice-cream, and then went home because it was late :D
Yasuko had pörkölt again, she loved it so much! XD She was really cute, when she thanked my mum for it this morning in the car! My mum keeps saying how cute she is and how sweet and etc...
I have to admit that sitting in the sunlight with Yasuko this morning at Batthyány tér, eating the freshly bought jam tarts, and waiting for her taxi, was sort of... I don't know, but I think I'll remember that 20 minutes for a long time :) I think I made a new friend ^_^

WITHIN TEMPTATION at Sziget

Well, that one day of Sziget was awesome! :) Happy birthday again, Viki! <3
We went there to see WithinTemptation, but we only found out that they had a signing session that afternoon!!! So we didn't have anything for them to sign, apart from pieces of paper :( Sharon is sooo adorable though! She's not skinny, but sort of big, though in a good way! She's really nice and she talked to everyone she met... not to mention her smiling all the way through! :D Really, Sharon is amazing :) Her hair is so pretty and wavy, and she has some freckles~~ so cute :) Then I took a photo with one of the other members, and we spent the rest of the time before the concert eating, jumping on the Túró Rudi trambulins, and watching the Quimby concert at the Main stage for a while. (note: I'm really gonna miss Túró Rudi. Piros pöttyös AZ IGAZI!!! \m/ )
Anyway. Concert rocked too! Sharon's live singing is almost as good as her recorded tracks *_* The other members didn't get that much attention, so I felt sorry for them, because they rocked at the guitar/keyboard/drums... oh well. I was in the 4-5th row mostly, but sometimes people pushed me to the front! :) I met some old classmates at the end, but they didn't recognise me :S I haven't changed THAT much!
Actually, maybe they were drunk :D
The concert ended around 11pm, so we had a rest and left our sweat to dry :D Then we wanted to go to the Zúzda, but it was closed :( We ended up at some club near it though, danced for a bit, got talked to by a random old dude wearing a Hungarian folk costume, telling us that he just invented the "retro-metal" style, and we were the first people to be that style... um.. OK.

Then we heard that song that's basically a repeat of "Right about now... [forgot lyrics] check it out now... right about now..." about 3 times at 3 different places... :D so danced to that too, then went to Nagyi palacsintázója, and hung out until the first trains :) Poor Patyi was ill, and Ami's legs hurt, and everyone was tired by the end, but I had fun! Shame I'm too poor to have gone to the Hives as well ;_;

balaton, etc

I'm back from a few days at Balaton with my friends! :) It was really fun - we went on a hike, and to the beach (though the weather wasn't too good, so whoever went in for a swim came out after like 20 minutes...), and of course we talked a lot, and started watching Goong... Maybe that wasn't a very good idea, because now we're all addicted to it, but whatever :P
We also murdered FOUR (!!!) ugly disgusting creepy crawly caterpillars, they were massive, stripy, and looked like spiders... they were crawling on my towel and stuff... and it was hard to kill them, but the FA spray and some slippers did the job in the end (as illustrated left :D).

On Wednesday, we're going to see Within Temptation at Sziget, and celebrate Viki's birthday - then on Friday night, Ayumi is coming to sleep over (after I cleaned the whole house for my mum who comes home on Sat)... then on Sunday, the Japanese girls are coming... leaving on Tuesday apparently. Phew, busy time coming up... after they leave, I'll have to visit my grandparents for a couple of days, and I don't know when I'll have to paint the lockers for Ms Thompson, either... :/
And only a bit more than a month until I start preparing to leave :)))

It won't be as easy as it sounds right now though ;_; でも頑張ります。
